Substitute Teacher:

Job Summary
We are seeking Substitute Teachers to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and development. This position involves implementing effective lessons and collaborating with parents and staff to support each child's educational journey. The Substitute Teachers will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and promoting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Teach subjects including math, English/language arts, science, social studies, and Bible lessons using adaptive teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
• Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes child welfare and encourages positive behavior management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience.
• Assist with weekly setup/teardown of classroom.
• Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness, ensuring a conducive learning atmosphere.
• Foster relationships with students, encouraging their social, emotional, spiritual, and academic growth.

Experience

• A degree in Education or teaching experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while supporting individual student needs.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies for fostering inclusive classrooms is essential.

Schedule

As needed Mon-Fri 8:30am to 2:30pm.
